Gladys Mae Sullivan, 95, died Sept. 26, 2007, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born Jan. 27, 1912, in Clubb, Mo., daughter of the late Raney and Sallie (Yancey) Allen.
She was united in marriage to William Rance Sullivan March 14, 1927. He preceded her in death Nov. 30, 1969.
Mrs. Sullivan was a member of White Hollow General Baptist Church in Clubb. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by six sons, Eugene Sullivan, Ontario, Calif., Joe Sullivan, Bastrop, La., Sam Sullivan, Seattle, Wash., Jack Sullivan, Greenville, Michael Sullivan, William "Bill" Sullivan Jr., both of Arnold; seven daughters, Freda Tucker, Piedmont, Ruby Brandon, Ferguson, Rosalie Eads, Loves Park, IL., Pat Beckham, Bridgeton, Donna Jones, Dardenne Prairie, Dinah Barker, House Springs, Carol Sullivan, Creve Coeur; two brothers, Glen Allen, Clubb, Jerry Allen, Silva; four sisters, Pauline Hale, Silva, Eunice Howard, Greenville, Virginia Roussin, St. Clair, Shirley Smith, Hillsboro; 50 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two sons, Franklin and Donald Sullivan, one daughter, Janet Ferdinandy, five brothers, Andrew, Grady, Gilford, Edward and Richard Allen, three sisters, Ola Ward, Kathleen Albrecht and Josephine Nuccio, seven grandchildren, Barbara Sullivan, James, Steven and John Brandon, Tonya Levart, Tabatha Ferdinandy and Sandra Jones.
The funeral was held Sept. 29 at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville, with Rev. Wayne Page officiating and music by the Community Choir and Daphne Hersey.
Pallbearers were Camerson Sullivan, Mark Sullivan, Kenny Sullivan, Rick Sullivan, Jim Bollinger, Christopher Barker, Robert Brandon and Kevin Jones. Burial was in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Silva.
