Diana Kay Lucas,age 61, of Greenwood, passed away December 10, 2020. Diana was born December 29, 1958 in Beech Grove, Indiana to James R. Lucas and Patricia L. (Lee) Lucas.
Diana was a 1977 graduate of Center Grove High School where she played clarinet as a member of the marching band. She then continued her education at Ball State University where she graduated in 1981 with a Bachelors degree in accounting. She had been employed several years with the Indiana Department of Corrections as a programmer.
Diana enjoyed traveling, having been to four continents. She also spent much of her leisure time reading, having amassed a collection of over 30,000 books. She was also a member of the Mount Pleasant Christian Church, Greenwood.
Diana is survived by her father, James R. Lucas; siblings, Steven Lucas and Donna Lucas; nephews, Travis Bishop, Trent Bishop and Dustin Bishop. She was preceded in passing by her mother, Patricia L. Lucas.
Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. December 18, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of services. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
