Larry A. Donahue, age 56, resident of Ply-Springmill Rd., Shelby died Saturday, May 31, 2003 in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born December 11, 1946 in Frenchburg, KY to William P. and Ruby J. (Hunter) Donahue he had been a Shelby resident the majority of his life. A 1966 graduate of Shelby High School, he was employed with Corpad Co. in Mansfield since 1995 and a had worked for 19 years with Therm-O-Disc in Mansfield. Mr. Donahue was a member of the Ontario Christian Church, the Johnny Appleseed Wood Carver's Club and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing with his granddaughters, woodworking, furniture making, gardening and working outside.
Survivors include his wife Sue (Hummel) Donahue, whom he wed August 23, 1969 ; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Scott and Karen Donahue of Crestline and Jason Donahue of Shelby; one daughter Amanda Donahue of New York City, New York; two grandchildren, Emily and Sidney Donahue; his mother Ruby J. Donahue of Millersburg, aunts, uncles and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father William P. Donahue in 2000.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday from the Ontario Christian Church. His minister, Cliff Rayburn, will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery, Shelby.
