Boyd Sanders was born May 28, 1925, in Sac County, Iowa. He was a World War II veteran. He served as an expert marksman in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He worked at Marshall Nurseries in Fremont from 1948-1990s. He was an outdoor enthusiast, who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: a son, Bud (and wife, Claudette) Sanders of Beaumont Calif.; a daughter, Deidre Buck of Palm Springs, Calif.; granddaughter, Zoe Sanders; and good friend, Dan Roberts of Fremont.
The memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Stanton Towers in Fremont. The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Delaware Cemetery in Nemaha, Iowa. Brauman Mortuary of Omaha is in charge of the arrangements.
A memorial has been established to the Nebraska Games & Parks Commission.
