She was a graduate of Francisco High School. Helen retired from Potter & Brumfield after 31 years of service. She was a member of Broadway Christian Church in Princeton. In 1944 she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) L. Harvey and they were blessed with 52 years together before his passing in 1997. They lived most of those years on S. Hall St..
Helen is survived by her son Rev. Ron (Linda) Harvey of Scottsboro, AL.; six grandchildren: Robert Harvey II of Scottsboro, Renee (Joey) Crenshaw of Waco, TX, Stephanie Dunlap of Waco, TX, Cathy Ann (Randy) Fout of Alma, AR, Dawn (Tim) Montgomery of Eaton, OH,
and Ryan Hooker of Evansville. She had 23 great grandchildren, and 8 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dora Ross of Titusville, FL, sister-in-law Marie Gentry of Evansville and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Teresa (Terri) Ann Harvey Hooker.
A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, December 18th at Colvin Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Ron Harvey. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Due to COVID restrictions Colvin is limited to 25 people. Everyone is welcome to the graveside service that will follow at White’s Chapel Cemetery in Princeton following the funeral service.
