Joe Willie Edwards was a good person, always willing to do what he could to help someone else. He was a little funny at times. I believe most of us can remember him with his tool belt, as he thought every mechanical problem could be fixed with a hammer.
He was a little shy, but greatly loved by all who knew him. He was raised in Renova, Mississippi, with his sisters and brothers by his father, Walter Taylor and mother, Irene Rogers. He attended Eastside High School and moved to Springfield in 1983 and worked for Hunan Restaurant for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by; father; Walter Taylor Sr., brothers; Eddie Lewis, Michael Taylor, James Taylor, Robert Taylor, Leon Taylor, Wade Taylor, Roosevelt Taylor and Walter Taylor Jr., sisters; Odessa Taylor, Vera Williams, Daisy Seals, Ellarose Thomas, Lenore Brown and Pearlie Mae Taylor Hughes.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother; Irene Rogers of Prattville, Alabama, sons; Joe Willie Lark and Jeffrey Lark, daughters; Rendia Pollard, Lynetta Lark and Cassandra McGee, Children mother; Mary Coles, brothers; Charles Edwards of Prattville, Alabama, Freddie(Mary)Taylor, Luster(Josephine)Taylor, Russell Taylor, Charles Taylor and Clo Taylor, sisters; Mary(Arthur) McClain, Sally Edwards (Troy)Myers, Fulisa(Andre)Bledsoe, Annie(Herbie)McBride, Jearlin Edwards, Easter Taylor, Joann Sampson and Lottie Rogers,16 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
