Robert “Bob” Dale Weiss, age 67, found peace on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1953 in Hartford to David F. Weiss and Marlene J. Weiss (nee Hafeman). He was raised in Hartford and graduated from Hartford Union High School before relocating to Minneapolis, MN where he was a strong advocate of the LGBTQ community and the Minnesota AIDS project. He proudly received his CNA license from Moraine Park Technical College.
Bob was known for his kind and compassionate spirit, his incredible decorating skills, spectacular dance moves, and his love for Pizza Hut, Diet coke, and all things Halloween. Bob loved bringing joy to others and often volunteered to dress as either an Easter Bunny or our favorite Santa Claus at the nursing home he worker at and other community events.
Bob is survived by his father David F. Weiss; his siblings, Steven, Susan, Michael, Mary (Edward) Krueger, and stepsiblings Gary (Jan) Gaedtke, Jim (Connie), and Wes (Cheryl). He is further survived by his dear nephews Oliver Krueger, Ryan (Jenna) Krueger, Adam (Randie) Boyd, and dearest Nieces, Sandra, Angela (Brian) Kroening, Jessica, Kayla, and Samantha; among many other loved cousins, great-nieces, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, sister Sandra, and many friends and loved ones.
A celebration of Bob’s life will take place June, 13, 2021 from 1 PM until 5 PM at Camp Quad, 6886 County Rd. Q, Hartford, WI 53027. Interment of Bob's urn will take place on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11 AM at St. Killian Cemetery, Hartford.
