Caroline Snyder Stevenson, died December 14, 2020 at the age of 93. Born and raised in
Kenmore, New York, Carol attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she met the love
of her life, Bill Stevenson. After graduating in 1949, Carol and Bill were married and spent the
next 68 years together. In addition to raising her five sons, Carol was passionate about helping
others. Be it as a volunteer counselor with the Cincinnati Central Psychiatric Clinic, the Board
President of the Over-the-Rhine Womens Drop-in Center or a generous supporter of a wide
variety of charities, Carol wanted her community to be a better place for everyone, especially
those at the fringe.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents Joseph and Josephine Snyder, brothers
John and Phil Snyder, sister Sally Geser and grandson Chris Stevenson. Carol leaves behind her
five sons Jeff (Meg), Andy (Gina), Rob (Christie), Ken and Tom (Lexie), her fifteen
grandchildren Tom (Susie), Dave (Kristin), Alex, Molly, Brian (Lisa), Colin, Chris (Lily), Jenny
(Evan), Ian, Adam, Kyle, Megan, Matthew, Drew and Madeleine, and twelve great-
grandchildren Piper, Penny, Micah, Audrey, Bode, Elodie, Eva, Elia, Sydni, Raiden, Amari and
Oliver.

Carol will be remembered as a strong-willed, funny and caring person. Although small in stature,
she was one tough bird. Carol touched so many people including her friends from Miami
University, Ryland Lakes Country Club, Manasota Key and her caring staff at the Otterbein.
