Son of Hanson Walter and Cosby Lee Bickel. He served after enlisting in the U.S. National Guard. He retired from Ebco/Oasis Manufacturing. He and his wife, Shirley, were members of First Baptist Church of Gahanna. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Ann Bickel. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Lee Bickel-Wilson and her companion, William Clark; grandson, Michael Ryan (Alexandra Danaѐ) Wilson. CoD: COVID-19.
