Arlene Johnson, age 87 of Abilene, went home to the Lord on Friday, December 11th, 2020. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 16th from 6pm to 8pm at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St., Abilene. Funeral services will be at 1pm Thursday at North's with David Hutton and Van McCormick officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Arlene was born on February 4th, 1933 in Hylton, Texas to Jack and Margaret Murphy. She was a member at Northwest Church of Christ who was active in many church activities. Arlene loved traveling with her late husband Bobby in their RV and was a member of the Good Sam's Club and the Sundowner's. She loved giving back to the community and was a volunteer at the Christian Service Center of Abilene, Family Services at Dyess AFB and was also a member of the local TOPS Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Beloved husband, Bobby and her daughter, Jackie Stout.

Arlene is survived by her children, Karen Peters of Abilene, Terri Rowlands and husband Robert of Marshall, Arkansas and Robert Johnson and wife Gina of Aubrey, Texas; grandchildren, Sarah, Jonathan, Laura, Rachel, Krystal, Matthew, Adam, Amanda, Bobby, Lorene, Randall, Kenny, Morgan, Kye and 22 great grandchildren.
