Daniel Dale Long, 37, of Elk View WV, formerly of Fort Ashby, WV, passed away with his wife, Risa Saunders Long, and his children, Gage Ripley Long and Jameson Long, on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

Born November 4, 1983, in Cumberland, MD, Dan was the son of Doug Long and Susan (Perry) Long, Fort Ashby, WV.

Dan was a graduate of Frankfort High School, Class of 2002 and a United States Army Veteran. He was formerly employed at NBCI, Cumberland, MD, and WV Department of Corrections in Charleston, WV, as a correctional officer. He was a member of the Fort Ashby Lions Club. Dan attended the Annunciation of Our Lord Catholic Church. Danny enjoyed swimming, cooking, and being a Dad doing things with his children.

Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
