The Reflections of Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon

Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon was born to the union of Mr. Bee Moore and Mrs. Etta Moore on April 2, 1941. Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon transitioned to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully in her home December 12, 2020, with her daughter by her side. Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon was a God fearing woman with a kind spirit and bright smile. She was a hard working woman who grew up in the era in the south where she had to pick cotton and clean homes. Being the oldest child, she had to help raise her 14 other siblings. She never met a stranger and could cook you under the table with first place trophies to back it up. Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon came to know the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age, and remained a faithful member of Church of Christ, up until her departure here on earth. Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon would go on to join in marriage with the late Johnny Caldwell; from there, she became a homemaker and a mother of five children: three sons, Dennis, Jimmy, and Milton, and two daughters, Sherry and Angela. Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Bee and Etta Moore; seven brothers, Bobby Griffin, Joe B. Moore, Johnny B. Moore, Jay L. Moore, Gregory Wayne Moore, Jerry Lewis Moore, and Paul David Moore; two sisters Pauline Dismuke and Arrie Jean Furlow; one grandchild, Milton Wayne Caldwell, Jr.; one great-grandchild, Jaylen J. Gatson; and bestfriend, Carrie Mae Howard. Mrs. Shirley Beatrice Moore-Dixon leaves to cherish her precious memories: three sons, Dennis James Caldwell, Sr. (Beverly) of Marion, LA, Jimmy Dale Caldwell (Jennifer) of Truxno, LA, and Milton Wayne Caldwell, Sr. (Barbara) of Marion, LA; two daughters, Sherry Ann Turner (Charles) of Marion, LA, and Angela Lena Caldwell of Eldorado, AR; one sister, Mable Moore of Farmerville, LA; five brothers, D.L. Moore (Janice) of Jena, LA, L.B.
