Born September 18, 1949 in Vandergrift, she was a daughter of the late Merle & Sophie (Blanciak) Anthony.
Sandy was a 1967 graduate of Kiski Area High School. Religion was a very important part of her life, as she was a selfless person, and a member of the Body Of Christ.
Sandy was an excellent cook, and liked knitting, reading (especially mystery novels), and working on jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband William T. “Bill” McGinnis; daughter, Melissa A. (Anthony) Carricato; son, William A. “Bill” (Candace) McGinnis; grandchildren, Caleb & Alexis Carricato; sister, Barbara Coleman; and nieces, Katrina & Kathleen.
Entombment in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
