Sherry Ann Castleberry Yarbrough, age 78, of Valdosta, GA, passed away peacefully at her home in Valdosta, GA surrounded by her family on December 12, 2020. She was born to R. Stephen and Clarice (Fountain) Castleberry on March 23, 1942 in Adel, GA.
She is survived by her husband of sixty one years, James William Yarbrough, Jr., their four biological children, James (Jamie) W. Yarbrough III, Stephen (Tammy) Yarbrough, Teresa (Clyde) White and Kathy (Jerry) Lattin, twenty five grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, one sister, Shalyn (Kenny) Wilson, one sister in law, Cheryl (Joe) Siegel and one brother in law, Olin Yarbrough.
Art was her passion. She loved working with her students at Horizon Academy where she used art therapy. She loved to talk about her family and her faith in God. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, parents in law, one daughter in law and a great grandson, Dalton Wilkes.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 17, 2020 at one thirty p. m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Pastor Larry Hauser officiating.
