Reginald Brooks Marsh “Reggie”, 83, of Macon, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 7015 Rivoli Rd, Macon with Reverend Andy Oxford officiating. Immediately following the service, Mr. Marsh will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

Mr. Marsh was born on September 17, 1937, in Baldwin County, Georgia to the late Giles Brooks and Jewell Posey Marsh.

After three years of dating, Mr. Marsh married the love of his life, Carolyn Mote Marsh, with whom he spent 63 wonderful years of marriage.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army Reserves for 12 years, before starting a lengthy and impressive career as a Salesman and Estimator for several local heating and air companies. Mr. Marsh retired from Lowe Plumbing and Hamlin Heating and Air.

In his free time, he loved reading, fishing, and working in the yard. He also enjoyed lapidary work, and grilling. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by his parents, as well as one sister; Kay Marsh Woods and his fur babies Willie and Ginger.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His wife; Carolyn Mote Marsh. Children; Kerry Brooks Marsh (Mary), and Reneé Marsh Bagley (Chris). Grandchildren; Allen Brooks Marsh (Emily), Eric Brooks Bagley (Betsy) and Lauren Bagley Wang (Nathan). Three great grandchildren; Brooks, Boyd and Everett.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations please be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, 7015 Rivoli Rd, Macon, Ga, 31210
