Mae Rachel Ray Anderson passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was born on December 12, 1943 to the late James Otto Ray and Vivian Rone.
Mae attended Prentice High School. She attended Green Chapel Baptist Church. Later, she became a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Mae married Leon Anderson on March 5, 1966. They were married 46 years at the time of his passing in 2012. She was a housekeeper for the late Frank and Martha Griffin of Alabaster, Alabama for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Anderson; son, Brian Keith Anderson; father, James Otto Ray; sister, Margaret Frances Price; grandsons, Tyler Griffin and Linnel Ray.
Mae leaves to cherish her memory: her children; her siblings; 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday November 21, 2020 at 12:00 Noon on The Grounds of The Good Shepherd Funeral Home with interment at Liberty Cemetery in Alabaster, Alabama with Rev. Van C. Houser officiating and Good Shepherd Funeral Home directing.
