Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Andrew Prowell officiating. Private burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. Charles will lie-in-state 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are required at all services. LIVE STREAM of the service will be provided.
Charles was born July 21, 1931, in Waco, the son of Clarence and Leona (Brunson) Belville. He attended schools in Waco. On September 12, 1969, he was united in marriage to Georgia Bacak in Austin. Georgia preceded him in death on March 31, 2020. He was the owner of Belville Construction Company for many years until his retirement in 2014.
Charles was the founder of the House of Prayer in Waco and served as pastor from 1972 until February of 2018. Charles loved his church family, enjoyed singing, and playing gospel music with his guitar. His great passion was witnessing for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Charles is also preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Judith Belville; a granddaughter, Priscilla Belville; and his siblings, Jerry Belville, Henry Belville, Jack Belville, Effie Stewart, Dorothy Mills, Betty Kilgore, and Doris Reed.
Survivors include his children, Mark Belville, Chuck Belville Jr., Steve Belville, Ivan Belville, Regina Kiriakos, Marsha Perez and husband Rick, and Deborah Prowell and husband Andrew; his stepchildren, Tamy Chapman, and Roger Bacak and his wife Kim; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
