Barbara Tanner 85 of Harrisburg passed away 7:21 AM Monday, January 22, 2018 in Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was born January 17, 1933 in Harrisburg, the daughter of Sam and Jessie Reynolds Enz.
She was married to Donald Tanner and he preceded her in death February 29, 2015.
She was a member of New Castle Missionary Baptist Church and had worked for several years as a butcher at Sloan Street Market.
Surviving her are 1 son Greg Tanner of Galatia, 2 daughters; Debbie & John Zeigler of Marion, IL and Sonja & Vic Sellers of Harrisburg, 1 brother; Jerry Enz of Carrier Mills and 1 sister Judy Bell of Kansas City, KS, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Tanner, 1 son Gary Tanner and 1 daughter Anita Rushing.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Jim Williams officiating and burial will follow in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. Friends may call after 11:00 AM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
