Karen Jane Burgess Evans, 72 of Clinton passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Baptist Health in Paducah. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church, had worked at Farm Bureau and the former First National Bank and was a member of the First Community Bank Board of Directors. She is survived by her husband, Jerry “Mickie” Evans of Clinton, 2 daughters, Michelle (Billie) Prince and Heather (Mike) Spillman, both of Clinton and a son, Michael (Miranda) Evans of Clinton, 8 grandchildren, Tye (Morgan) Prince, Zeke Prince, Eli Prince, Alec (Cassidy) Spillman, Halle Spillman, Sophee Evans, Lanee Evans and Haddee Evans, all of Clinton and 1 great grandchild arriving in January, Jax Prince. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lewis and Dessie Pearl Tharp Burgess and an infant sister, Teresa Burgess. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Holt, Rev. Ricky Burton, and Rev. Billie Prince, JR officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery. There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the church at the service time.
