Linda Brooks Adkins, 68, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at her home. She was born March 1, 1952, the daughter of the late Buryl and Mildred Brooks.

Linda served the community as a cosmetologist for more than 50 years. She was a family member of The Church Without Walls and dearly loved camping and her camping family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Evan Powers.

Survivors include her husband, Butch Adkins; her four children, Jason and Hilary Powers of Raphine, Darby Powers of Greenville, Stacey and Todd Gruver of Waynesboro and Bobby and Lisa Adkins of Stuarts Draft, and Linda’s grandchildren, Trent and Brayden Gruver, Jacob Noel, Ethan Powers, Evelyn Powers and Carson Adkins.

There will be a private family service, however, a future Celebration of Life will be announced.
