Anna Belle Pete, age 95, of Westlake, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Anna was born October 15, 1924 in Church Point, LA to Otere Fontenot and Clotele Abshire Fontenot.
Anna loved and enjoyed her family. She was well know for her excellent Cajun cooking and during the holidays her family would request catfish courtbouillon and cornbread dressing. Anna was a member of The Moss Bluff Pentecostal Church and was very involved in her church.c
Anna is proceeded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Melvin J. Guillory Hardy Pete; brother, Qulice Fontenot; sister, Rose Ware.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Emery J. Guillory of Westlake, LA, Harold J. Guillory and wife Debbie of Moss Bluff, LA, Tony Guillory of Westlake, LA; brother, Elton Fontenot of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Anna Blanche Fontenot of Westlake, LA; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one, great-great grandchild.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 1pm to 3pm with a memorial service to begin at 2:30pm at the First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff.
