Nancy M. Bailey, 92, of Oceana, passed away Friday December 11, 2020. She was a talented quilter and a wonderful cook. Nancy was a beautiful soul inside and out. She will be sadly missed by all.

She was born on November 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Okey Johnson Lamb (1892-1967) and Goldie Bailey-Lamb (1892-1970). Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Bernard A. Bailey Sr. (1925-Deceased) whom she married on November 30, 1946 in Oceana, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1946, Page 207, Application Date: November 26, 1946); her daughter, Linda Bailey-Morea (Deceased); sons-in-law, Earl Stewart (Deceased), and Randy Nelson-Kennedy (1953-2019); sisters, Iris Lamb-Cline (1916-1982), Virginia Lou Lamb-Walker (1923-1986), Mary Elizabeth Lamb-Bailey (1931-2002), Hazel Agnes Lamb-Evans (1914-1986), Helen Lamb-Rollins (Deceased), and Ruby Lamb-Parker (Deceased); brothers, Bernard Lamb (1913-1990), David "Harold" Lamb (1921-2002), and Franklin "Frank" Lamb (Deceased); and her father-in-law and mother in law, Ingram Bailey (1895-1979) and Hattie A. Canterbury-Bailey (1898-1977). Nancy was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, David M. Bailey and Bernard Bailey & wife Lakie Bailey; daughters, Brenda Ann Bailey-Turner & husband Jim Turner, Alice Lamb-Stewart and Melanie Lamb-Kennedy; son-in-law, Richard Morea; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She will be buried in a private ceremony in Palm Memorial Gardens in Matheny, WV.
