Surviving are a sister-in-law, Ruth Nelson; a niece, Janice Kennedy; and a nephew, Benjamin Nelson III. She was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin E. Nelson.
She was a 1940 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and she also attended the Altoona Bible Institute. Anna and her brother were co-owners of Nelson Nurseries in Catfish, Duncansville, and provided home landscaping for over 50 years. She was a member of the Leamersville Church of the Brethren, where she served as organist and pianist for many years. She also provided floral arrangements from her extensive flower gardens.
Due to COVID-19 limitations, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made in Alto-Reste Park. Arrangements are by Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring.
