Tyrone Williams, 58, of East Petersburg, passed away at home, Thursday, December 10, 2020. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Nathaniel and Bernice (Wright) Williams. Tyrone was the loving and longtime companion of Beatriz “Betty” Perez, for 20 years.

Tyrone was a 1981 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. He went on to attend Lincoln University where he obtained his Master’s degree in Human Services and then went on to obtain his doctorate degree at Fielding Graduate University and obtained his BCBA at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Tyrone worked in research autoethnographic and phenomenology studies. He was a licensed Behavioral Specialist.

Tyrone enjoyed lifting weights, exercising, traveling, and competing in heavy weight lifting competitions. He enjoyed dancing, loved music, and was a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Marshal Arts.

In addition to his companion, Betty, Tyrone is survived by his sons: Tyrone Williams, Jr., Akeem Williams, Christian T. Williams, Jermaine Maina, and Makhai J. Williams; his siblings Alvina, Robert, Alonzo, and Arthur Lee Williams; grandchildren: Apollo and Aleesi Williams; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Tyrone will be held at a later date.
