John T Streeter Sr 84 of Lewiston passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans following an extended illness. John was born October 19, 1922 in Highland Park, MI the son of Morris and Catherine (Fraser) Streeter. He retired in 1983 from Ford Motor Company Rouge Plant after more than 43 years service. He and his wife Neavella moved to Lewiston in 1985 from Southgate. John was member and past master of Atlanta lodge #516 F&AM and a former member and past master of Lewiston Lodge #581. John was also a member of the Lewiston Congregational United Church of Christ, the Order of the Eastern Star, Elk Khurafeh Shrine in Saginaw, and for many years was an active Ham Radio Operator his call sign W8GPP. John is survived by his son John (Rita) Streeter Jr, granddaughters Mary and Michele, and great granddaughters Megan and Hannah Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the funeral home, Pastor Toby Stadden officiating. Burial will be in Albert Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Friday. Masonic Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Memorials are suggested to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
