Cecelia Haydon Sekelsky, who has resided at Maefair H.C.C. for the past 3 ½ years died on December 2, 2005 at the age of 96. She was a 60 year resident of Stratford and was a member of St. Mark's Church for 40 years. She born in Bridgeport in March of 1909 to the late John and Catherine Kaskie and was pre-deceased by her first husband Richard Haydon in 1961. She then married George Sekelsky in 1970 and was widowed in 2000, she was also pre-deceased by six sisters and a brother Carrie(FAG#181357369), Sophie, Josey(FAG#229161823), Helen, Vicky(FAG#184515303), Gert (FAG#229161281 )and Tony(FAG#229161566). Survivors include a daughter Patricia Hatch of Norfolk, VA., a son Richard Haydon and his wife Margaret of Stratford, 4 grandchildren Kevin Hatch of Norfolk, VA., Shawn Hatch of Annadale, VA., Richard Haydon of Long Beach, CA., and Kristen Haydon Howell of Orlando, FL., and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday December 7th at 11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mark's Church Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
