He was born on March 22, 1952 in Harrisburg, IL to Clifford and Myrtle Mann Hunt.
He married Cathy Headrick on June 28, 1985.
Survivors include his wife Cathy Hunt of Carrier Mills, IL. Sons, Brandon Hunt and Keith Nielsen of Carrier Mills, IL. Daughter Lisa Johnston of Harrisburg, IL. Brothers, Wayne Hunt, George Hunt, and Jim Hunt all of Harrisburg, IL and Bill Hunt of Carrier Mills, IL. Sister Barbra Baldwin of Harrisburg, IL. 8 Grandchildren, Katie and Cody Johnston, Kelly Patterson, Shelly, Ethan, Keaton, Memphis, and Keleigh Nielsen. Along with his faithful companion, Luke.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Clifford “Buster” Hunt, and sister Lela Hunt.
Funeral Services will held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday February 16, 2019 at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Reid’s Chapel Cemetery in Stonefort, IL. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday February 15, 2019 at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
