Marion Louise "NaNa" Turner was born in Chesterfield, VA on November 3, 1929. She peacefully transitioned on November 13, 2017.
Marion was educated in Chesterfield County Public Schools. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age, and was a lifelong member of Brown Grove Baptist Church (Midlothian). Marion devoted her life to the Lord and to taking care of her family.
Marion was Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; three children, Marva Crew, Lavonia Crew and Mitchell Turner; son-in-law, Linwood Crew; parents, Nannie B. and Sidney H. Taylor; sister, Addie Yates; brother, Sidney Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memory her six children, Clifford, Jerry, Flora Crenshaw (Charles),Gleen, Lotta Davis (Milton),and Pamela Majette (Lawrence); seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Irene Freeman and Clifton Taylor; a devoted friend, Norman Meade and a host of other relatives and friends. NaNa spent her final years living with two devoted granddaughters, Cynthia Crew and Marion Crew.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 18,2017 1:00PM at Brown Grove Baptist Church ~ Interment Church Cemetery.
