Reverend Scott Hanberry will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Double Churches Cemetery in Bassfield. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be family member and friends.
Connie was born on December 14, 1941, in Bassfield, MS, and graduated from Bassfield High School in 1959. She was a member of Good Hope Methodist Church in Bassfield.
Connie will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ransome Lamar Deen and Louise Jackson Deen; and her husband, W.C. Turner.
Survivors Include two children, Deena Hunter and Dusty Brewer, Jr., and his wife, Brooke, all of Hattiesburg; three grandchildren, Richard "Rix" Hunter, Andie Brewer, and Lake Hunter; two sisters, Agnes “Ted” Rutland of Hattiesburg, and Bo King, and her husband, Louis Williams of Bassfield; and her nephews.
