Christopher "Chris" Cole, 33, of Tiffin, passed away at 5:38 p.m., on Friday, December 11, 2020 at his residence.
Chris was born on December 8, 1987, to Matt Grimes and Esther (Cole) Chilcutt who both survive in Tiffin.
Chris is survived by his step-father, Michael Chilcutt of Tiffin, a sister, Brittany (Jarred) Collins, a brother, Adam (Mary) Chaney of Tiffin, two step-brothers, Robert (Kayla) Young of Tiffin, Christopher Chilcutt of Virginia and a half brother, Justin Vaughn of Tiffin, and many nieces and nephews.
Chris was a 2006 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and studied history at the University of Cincinnati for a couple of years and went on to get his associates degree in Massage Therapy from Owens Community College. Chris loved to help people feel good physically, mentally and spiritually. He enjoyed hiking, going on walks, skate boarding, traveling, being outdoors and being with his family.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil (Joan) Cole and Norman (Christine) Grimes, cousins, Tyler Vance, Kevin Cole and an aunt, Mary Cole.
Funeral services for Chris will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Lois Miller officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Woodlawn cemetery in Bloomville.
