She was born October 20 1933 in Fostoria, to Harold and Iva (Might) Doll. She married Russell M. Keckler, Sr. and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2002. She married David E. Osborne, and he too preceded her in death on March 26, 2016.
Surviving are her children, Russell (Mary Lou) Keckler, Jr., Daniel S. Keckler, and Kevin (DeaLynn) Keckler, all of Fostoria; eight grandchildren, Russell (Holly) Keckler III, Jennifer (Todd) Michael, Matthew (Tracy) Keckler, Mark (Gabrielle) Keckler, Daniel S. Keckler, Jr., Miya A. Keckler, Kevin (Jamie) Keckler, Jr., and Kristyn (Walter) Tally; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Dennis S. Keckler, and a great-granddaughter.
Joan was a member of High Street United Methodist Church in Fostoria. She was also a former Fostoria Schools Board member, a member of the Fostoria Garden Club, and the Mother of Twins Club. She was a Sunday school teacher at Wesley United Methodist Church in Fostoria, and volunteered at Fostoria Community Hospital.
In her leisure, Joan enjoyed doing crafts, playing Nintendo, and she was an avid reader. Her grandchildren, however, were her greatest joy.
All services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
