WOODS, ELLA (PATTERSON) - age 89 passed away Sunday November 20, 2011 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home. A member of Alder Springs Baptist Church. Retired from Palm Beach Company. The family would like to thank the Hillcrest North staff for all the love and care they have shown, and a very special thank you to Nurse David Weiner. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Edith Sulfridge; sisters, Alice Lusby and Lenore Russell; Brother, Gene Sulfridge; grandsons, Marvin and Greg Welch, Johnny Stooksbury; sons-in-law, Jimmy Lay and Bill Hutchinson; daughter-in-law, Judy Patterson. Survivors: daughters, Agnes Hutchinson, June Lay, Laquetta (Carl) Welch; sons, Stanley Patterson, Denny (Brenda) Patterson; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; seventeen great great grandchildren; sister, Lois Harmon; brother, Glen (Martha) Sulfridge; sister-in-law, Bobby Sulfridge; Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 7:00 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am Wednesday at Lett Cemetery for a 10:00 am interment. Pallbearers will be grandsons. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to Alder Springs Building Fund 556 Hickory Star Road Maynardville, TN 37802.
