Peacefully at Riverside Hospital on Monday March 30, 1998, at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of the late Francis Roche. Dear mother of Paul de Merlis and his wife Bonnie. Loving remembered by her grandchildren Adam and Amy. Doris is survived by her siblings, John Sutherland (Ruth), Gerry Sutherland (Kay), Frances Stewart (Bob), Phyllis Gray and David Sutherland (Ruth Helgason). Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGerry, 315 McLeod Street, on Thursday, April 2, 1998, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 1 p.m. until the service time in the chapel at 2 p.m.
