Mrs. (Laura Pruitt) W P Tims,
Mrs. W.P.Tims Dies in Atlanta
Mrs. W.P. Tims of Cedartown, died in an Atlanta hospital Friday. She was 60 years old. Funeral services were held at Shiloh Church Sunday afternoon with Rev. Turner Worsham, Rev. J.W. Clinton and Rev. Garner officiating. Music was rendered by the Worsham Quarter. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Roberts Funeral Home in charge. Besides her husband, Mrs. Tims is survived by three sons, Joe Brown Tims of Piedmont, Ala., and Gordon and Paul Tims of Cedartown; four daughters, Mrs. H.S. Benfield of Statesville, N.C., Mrs. J.D. Reed, of Anniston, Ala., Mrs. H.W. McBurnett of Piedmont and Mrs. Frank Gentry of Muscadine, Ala., 27 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Dill, of Cedartown, Mrs. Mary Tims of Albertville, Ala., and Mrs. Ruby Gann of Chattanooga, Tenn., and four brothers, Robert Prewett of Felton, John Prewett of Albertville, Elisha Prewett of Chattanooga and J.N.
