It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Fay Mitchell Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Fay Mitchell Sr. and Marie Rutter Mitchell; and his wife Barbara Louise Mitchell. He is survived by : his children, Debbie, Don (Kim), David (Mary) and Dan (Robin); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Ashley), Lacey, Chase Zack (Lanier), Andrew, Keith and Wendy; his great grandchildren, Allison, Addison, Joshua, James and Charlotte; his niece Carolyn Couch; and his friends, Bobbie, Jerry Turner, Penny and Don Ricketson.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 18th 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Community Hospice of North East Florida.
