Ralph E. Barbour, 71, formerly of Post Road, a cobbler and owner of Barbour's Shoe Service, Pawtuxet Village, from 1945 until retiring in 1970, died Friday at the Veterans Administration Regional Medical Center.
He was the husband of the late Diana (Knight) Barbour.
Born in Rockland, Mass., a son of the late Ralph E. and Eva L. (Torrey) Barbour, he lived in Warwick since 1950.
Mr. Barbour was a patient at the Rhode Island Veterans Home, Bristol, for 13 years.
He was a member of Harmony Lodge 9, F & AM, and the Pawtuxet Baptist Church.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, a daughter, three sisters and two granddaughters.
