Services for Ronald M. Gregory, 72, of Jackson, Minnesota will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Jackson with Rev. Matthew Garavalia & Rev. Billy Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Peterburg, Minnesota with full military honors by Jackson American Legion Post #130.

Ronald died on Friday evening, November 6, 2020 at his home in Jackson, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn, Minnesota and one hour prior to the services at the Church on Saturday. There will be an Irish Wake at the Gregory Residence in Jackson, Minnesota following the burial. The staff at Kramer Family Funeral Home extends their appreciation to the Gregory family for their trust.

For the safety of all, please be observant of the Covid-19 restrictions including social distancing, hand sanitizing, and staying at home if not feeling well. The family also request those entering the church for the visitation and funeral are required to wear a facial mask. Thank you in advance.

Ronald (Ron) Michael Gregory, the son of Willard (Bill) & Lydia (Hvezda) Gregory, was born April 7, 1948, near Petersburg, Minnesota. He was a 1966 graduate of Jackson High School and a 1968 graduate of Jackson Vocational Tech with a degree in Auto Mechanics. He was drafted into the U.S. Army shortly after graduation and was honorably discharged 2 years later. On June 27, 1970, Ron was united in marriage to Louise Tuttle at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Medford, MN. The couple made there home in New Richland, Minnesota. To this union, 3 children were born: Ann, Kate & Mike. The family moved to Jackson, Minnesota in 1974 where Ron began working for A. J. Watland. He later worked for Glasstite in Dunnell, Minnesota and then worked for the City of Jackson, Minnesota until his retirement in 2013 .Ron was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Jackson and also a member of the Jackson American Legion Post #130 and it’s Drum Corp. Ron enjoyed working on different projects and helping area farmers. He also enjoyed camping at Robertson Park, near Loon Lake.

Ron is survived by his wife, Louise Gregory of Jackson, Minnesota; 2 daughters: Ann and husband Jeff Brandt of Jackson, Minnesota and Kate and husband Shon Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and his son, Mike Gregory and his wife, Tracy of Luverne, Minnesota. 4 grandchildren: Aaron Kadreabek, Tanner and Lydia Gulbrandson and Gavin Gregory. His sister: Gaylene and husband Ben Nefzger of Rock Island, Illinois; 2 brothers: Roger Gregory and his wife, Shirley of Duneidun, Florida and Duane Gregory and his wife, Laura of St. Cloud, Minnesota and along with many other relatives and friends.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents and by 4 brothers.



In lieu of flowers, Ron’s family prefers memorials be given to the Jackson American Legion Post #130.
