Robert Glynn Allen was born in Silver Creek, Mississippi on August 8, 1920, to Harris Seymour Allen and Myrtle Ella Nelson Allen. He was a farmer and heavy equipment operator and was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Allen attended Carson Baptist Church for over 20 years and was a lifelong member of Old Silver Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and 1 sister, Mary Lillian Allen Sisk. Survivors include 1 son, David Allen (Pam) of Pace, FL; 3 daughters, Rebecca Allen Sutter of Prentiss, Jill Allen of Pascagoula, and Julie Allen Craven (Russell) of Lucedale; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Allen, Brooke Allen Sawyer, Clint Craven, Megan Sutter, and Noah Craven; and 4 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
