Edison L. Ramsay, 88, of 882 E. Market St., who was an antique dealer and auctioneer, died at 12:02 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Berthe T. (Paillart) Ramsay.
The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Wm. J. Workinger Funeral Home Inc., 846 E. Market St. Burial will be in Slateville Presbyterian Cemetery, Peach Bottom Township. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, East Market and North Queen streets, York, 17403.
Mr. Ramsay was born in Delta, the son of the late Hugh W. and Priscilla W. (Brown) Ramsay. He was a self-employed antique dealer for 56 years, and was owner and operator of Ramsay Antiques at his home. He also was an auctioneer for 25 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Ramsay also is survived by a son, Patrick Paillart, Paris, France; and a step-grandson. Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Blair R. Monie
