Sarah Martinez, age 81, was called home to Glory by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was born on December 18, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas.

Sarah worked as a stenographer, administrative assistant, legal secretary and human resources assistant. She was an active member of Cornerstone Church for over 25 years where she proudly served as a Home Ministry Study Group Leader, Marriage Intimacy Group Leader and was active in various other women's ministries.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 61 years Edward Martinez, son Gabriel Martinez and wife Theresa, grandchildren Stevie and Gabriela, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Vada Hagee Chapel at Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio.

A memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hagee Ministries Sanctuary of Hope.
