Regina Arlene Bowman, 91, of Everett, PA passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 16, 1924 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Harrison “Short” and Verda I. (Pennell) Mearkle. On September 23, 1945 at Scott Field Air Force Base, Belleville, Illinois by chaplain list she married Brayton Walter Bowman. They have been united in marriage for seventy years.
Along with her loving husband and devoted caregiver she is survived by, sons: Larry and Gregory Bowman; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter-in-laws: Mary Lee and Liz Bowman.
Mrs. Bowman was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church.
She was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1942. She was a homemaker and a retired bus driver for the Everett Area School District.
She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years.
