Larry Walker Rose, age 72 of Laurel Branch, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was a son of the late Joe and Elizabeth Barton Rose. He was a former co-owner of Rose Brothers Recapping, retired correctional officer, and member of Frying Pan Freewill Independent Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings; Fearl, Edgar, Palmer, Clara, Ruth, Onsby, Ervin, Nannie, Fannie, and Janice.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Rose, a daughter, Kimberley Rose of Haysi, a son, Mike (Heather) Rose of Haysi, a grandchild, Michaela Rose, and siblings; Texas Rose, Nancy (Rocky) Rowland, Luther Rose, Olen (Francis) Rose, Karl (Tammy) Rasnick, and Carolina (Ralph) Boji.
