Age 79 of Saginaw, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw.
A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2020 at McGeehan Funeral Home Martin Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Saint Michael Cemetery, New Lothrop.
Marie was born on February 19, 1941 to Otto and Willie Mae (Disspain) Yaklin in Saginaw County, New Lothrop Michigan. Marie married Clarence Davis in 1968 in Saginaw County, Saginaw Michigan.
During her life, Marie served as a Dominican Nun at Marywood Academy in Grand Rapids and later was dedicated to Christian service by joining Kingdom Life Ministries International at Saginaw in 2003. Marie worked as an LPN Nurse at Saint Luke (Covenant) Hospital for many years. She especially enjoyed evangelization and authored the book How To Receive Your Healing.
Marie is survived by her siblings Robert O. (Joyce Farrow) Yakin, Betty Hemker, Maurice (Verna) Yaklin and Lorraine (Michael) Moore. She is predeceased by her husband Clarence Davis, her parents Otto & Willie Mae Yaklin and brother-in-law Donald Hemker.
The family would like to thank Pastor Phyllis Lynn Hill and Mary Kiefer for the care that they gave to Marie over the past several years.
