Rita M. Edinger, 68, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday December 9, 2020 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born March 6, 1952 in Fostoria to the late Robert and Nettie (Shook) Banks. She married Jerry Edinger November 15, 1982 in Virginia.
Survivors include her husband Jerry Edinger, Tiffin; grandson, Tyler Imes, who she raised; daughter, Lisa Head; step-children, Sean Edinger and Karmel Edinger; grandchildren, Brittanie Imes, Dylan Imes and Ciera Rowe; siblings, Nettie (Jim Lowery) Grine, Mary (Stefen) Partlow, Robert Banks, Daniel (Phyllis) Banks, John (Carol) Banks, William (Shari) Banks, Cindy (Jerry) Hopson, Kevin Banks and half-sister, Sharon Brewington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronnie Banks and Bevin Banks; and half-siblings, James Spangler and Roberta Dutiel.
Rita was a homemaker.
Mass of Christian Burial is 1 pm Wednesday December 16, 2020 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME 133 W.. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830.
Masks must be worn along with social distancing.
