Ed Wells, age 69, of Westerville, Ohio died December 9, 2020 at his home following a battle with MS. He was born on January 17, 1951 in Libertyville, Illinois, the son of the late Graham and Margene Wells. On August 31, 1975 he married Barbara Horchler, together they shared 45 years. Ed is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Daniel (Monica), Lindy (Eric), and Kelsy (J); grandchildren, Nikko, Skylar, River, Marlee, Lennon, Jude and Hendrix; sisters, Karen (Bob) & Margie (Jeromy); many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, John; sisters, Maida and Grace. Ed worked 40 years in the lighting industry at Ohio Lighting and Capital Lighting, where he was a self-proclaimed "Master of Sales." He grew up in Iowa and Chicago, he then came to Columbus and stayed in 1975 where he resided in Westerville for 40 years. Ed loved golf, music, his Buckeyes and the Cubs. His proudest achievements were his three beautiful children who blessed him with seven grandchildren. A special thank you to Capital City Hospice and the many neighbors, family and friends for all the care and support shown to Ed and his family.
