Phyllis Flowers,86, passed away December 10, 2020. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.
She was born November 24,1934 to Perry Wiley and Alice Mitchell Wiley. She grew up on a dairy farm and was a Baptist since childhood. She went to grade school and high school in the Stillwater, OK area and then on to secretarial school in Tulsa OK. She also received an Associate Degree from Tulsa Community College in 1995. Phyllis retired from working for Civil Service for thirty years with several awards.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy R. Flowers in 1996.
She is survived by two daughters: Sandra Brauer and Mary Barker, nine grandchildren: Brian Brauer, Trudy Brauer Mosel and her husband Craig Mosel, Kelly Brauer Tustin, Philip Brauer, Jacob Brauer and his wife Meg Brauer. Michael Cross and his wife Crystal Cross., Antonio Barker and his wife Courtney Barker, Christopher Barker and his wife Tessa Barker, Brandon Barker; and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Jeanette Haynes, sister-in-law Betty Payne, brother-in-law Floyd Flowers Jr., his wife Ruby Flowers preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis’s close companion for the last 7 years was her little dog “Baby”.
