Funeral services for Sarah Williams, 57, of Kilgore, Texas, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018 at New Birth Fellowship Church, with Rev. Robert Loftis officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Victory Funeral Services.

Sarah was born to the parentage of Fonnie Ector, Jr. and Ernie Mae Williams in Laird Hill, Texas, Saturday, April 22, 1961 and she departed this life Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Kilgore, Texas.

She was an active member of Corinth Christian Church.

In her youth, she attended Leveretts Chapel public schools followed by a work career of 20 plus years at Laird Memorial Hospital/Allegiance Hospital. She also worked at Kilgore Nursing Center and Jordan Home Health.

In her pastime she loved playing cards, especially Spades, with her family and friends.

Her parents, brothers, Ray Charles Flennoy, Thomas Williams, Bruce Smith, sisters, Annie Earl Hall, Geneva Hall, and Annette Ector, and grandchildren, LaNashay Williams and Pa’Sha Williams all preceded her in death.

She remains in the hearts of her husband, Eddie Freeman of Kilgore, TX; children, Tangie Williams, Patrick Williams and his wife, Squelia, Tracy Williams and her husband, Kevin, and Ahmad Williams all of Kilgore, TX; and Wildrick Williams and his wife, Keisha of Longview, TX; sisters, Dorothy Jo Williams of Longview, TX: Shirley Haynes of Kilgore, TX; Sherly Horton and Pamela Smith both of Longview, TX; brothers, Shirley Mack Pierce, Travis Williams, Robert Williams, Ezekiel Williams, Jay Calvin Williams and wife, Shanta, Willie Williams and wife Sharon, Mikel Smith and wife Wanda, Larry Smith, Anthony Smith and wife Valerie, and Dalton Smith all of Kilgore, TX; Rickey Williams and wife Gina of Longview, TX; and Andrew Ector and wife Kelly of Gilmer, TX.

Also mourning her loss are her god-sons, Wendell Harvey and Bryan Williams; grandchildren, Tyjai Wheat, Shawndrakus Williams, Con’swaylia Williams, A’niya Williams, Christian Isaac, Gregory Isaac, Davieon McGowan, Ariel Williams, Kason Hill, Keshon Williams, Jaela Williams and Kalia Causey: a host of other relatives and friends.
