Mrs. Lola Ellis, Age 98, was born June 24, 1914 in Athens, Georgia to Rueben and Mozelle Boles Walker, the oldest of eight children.

She attended Lansing Public Schools. She is known as Mother Ellis throughout the community and within her church family. She was a professional Care Giver to different families in the City of Lansing. Mother Ellis accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was one of the Charter Members. She held many positions in the Western District Association. Mother Ellis lived a life to please God and by doing so she found favor with God and Man. She was the Matriarch of the Walker Family. We all held her in the highest esteem.
