Martha Evelyn Brown Callaham, 96, resident of Simpson Rd., died Friday December 11, 2020 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born October 14, 1924 in Anderson County to the late G.D. and Blanche Whitaker Brown, she was twice married. First to the late William Gordon Burgess and the late Winifred Callaham. She worked as a receptionist for Piedmont Natural Gas for many years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church Belton.
Surviving are her son, Freddie Burgess of Belton; her grandchildren, Morgan L. Kelley and wife Doreen of New Jersey, and Leighann Stewart and husband Jason of Belton; 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William D Burgess.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM from the Garden of Memories with Rev. Dale Lynch officiating.
