Dr. Yvard Ferris Elwood, well known Hancock resident, died at the home of his parents, Dr. and Mrs. E. F. Elwood, 201 Vivian Street Saturday morning after a lengthy illness.
Dr. Elwood was 38 years of age and is survived by his widow, two children, his parents, thress sisters. Natalie at home, Mrs. A.W. Clevenger of Wakefield, Mrs. G.P Schubert o Houghton, and a brother, Charles of St. Paul.
The funeral will be held from the Elwood home Monday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. Clark Attridge of Trinity Episcopal Church will officiate and burial will be in Forest Hill Houghton.
